Abstract
The article analyzes the impact of the current conditions on the development of the Social State. It is emphasized that the current stage of development of the Social State is under the significant influence of the requirements of globalization of the world economy. It is noted that the continuous development of society and the state leads to the emergence of new forms of Welfare States. It emphasizes the need to improve and develop existing models of the Welfare State at the national level. The origin and development of the Welfare State is the result of a long historical process, one of the patterns of development which was the expansion of state functions and content through the addition of social. The development of European integration and globalization processes are complex modern elements that affect the institutional structure and organization of countries. Due to globalization diminishes the ability of nation-states to shape and implement their own social policies. There has been awareness of the need to improve and develop existing models of the welfare state at national level. In a globalized social policy of law is a difficult position. On the one hand, the state must withstand globalization demands that come from outside, should take into account the suggestions and proposals of other countries, and to initiate and carry out political, economic and social transformation. On the other hand, the state should provide conditions for citizen’s welfare; protect them from the negative aspects of globalization, from losses associated with adaptation to global market.
