Abstract
The article researches on demographic processes and urbanization trends in Transcarpathia in 1991-2016. It underlines that Transcarpathia is the only region of Ukraine which experienced deurbanization, i.e. decrease of urban population share, in this time period. The scale of this phenomenon is defined as well as its reasons and consequences.
