Abstract
Ivan Hranchak's scientific and educational activity was characterized by a panoramic vision of the South-Eastern and Central-Eastern Europe countries socio-economic development problems, the history of the Balkans, the Carpathians and the Danube basin peoples, the history of cities and villages in the region, the development of education and culture, international and transfrontier relations. Regular scientific readings by the name of Ivan Hranchak will contribute to the development and multiplication of the scientific and pedagogical traditions established, which initiated Ivan Hranchak.
