Dental management of Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia patient: A case report

Abstract
Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia is a rare inherited platelet disorder which can result in prolonged bleeding even from minor cuts or trauma. This case report presents the successful management of a 10 year old, known Glazmann’s thrombasthenia patient who required extraction of a broken deciduous first molar with the topical application of crushed tranexamic acid tablet.
