DEPOSIT OPERATIONS OF COMMERCIAL BANKS IN UKRAINE AND ITS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The aim of article is exploring the state of the resource base of Ukrainian banks. It has explored the basic concepts for the interpretation of the term “deposit”. It has analyzed non-financial corporations’ deposits and households’ deposits by the periods their repayment. It has identified the main reasons the low level of long-term deposit of legal entities. It has studied changing deposits’ interest rates for recent years for both individuals and legal entities.
