Depredación de Centromachetes aff. pococki (Kraepelin, 1894) (Scorpiones: Bothriuridae) sobre Akymnopellis sp. (Scolopendromorpha: Scolopendridae) en Chile

Abstract
Estudios sobre los ciempiés escolopendromorfos chilenos son escasos, especialmente en las áreas de ecología y etología. Para contribuir al conocimiento de estos dos últimos campos, se presenta el primer registro de depredación del escorpión Centromachetes aff. pococki (Kraepelin) sobre el ciempiés Akymnopellis sp. en la Región del Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins, Chile. Esta observación ratifica a los quilópodos como presas de los escorpiones.
