Design and Control of Grid-connected Inverter Based on Split-capacitor Passive Damping

Abstract

In order to solve the problems of resonance in three phase grid-connected inverter control with loop capacitor loop( LCL) filter,a split-capacitor passive damping method and parameter design were proposed by combining the split capacitor with passive damping. Firstly,the relationships between energy consumptions and split-capacitor capacitance ratio were analyzed,which were in split-capacitor passive damping scheme and in unsplit-capacitor passive damping scheme. Then the relationships between split-capacitor capacitance ratio and energy consumptions in different frequencies were analyzed. The split-capacitor capacitance ratio was further optimized. Finally,the MATLAB / Simulink simulation model was established. The simulation results show that the designed parameters can suppress resonance problem more effectively,reduce grid-connected current total harmonic distortion and power loss,and improve systematic stability and dynamic.
