Design and implementation of<br /> railway automatic block device monitoring system<br />

Abstract
This paper presents a design of railway automatic block monitoring system, which can fulfill the practical needs of the situation of unequal blocks between different stations with the help of communication interfaces dynamically created by software. Based on real-time data acquisition of block occupancy and serial port communication, the system realize the automation of the processing sequence including data acquisition, transmission, analysis, estimation, processing and storage. Furthermore, the system can intellectualize the malfunction detecting and locating. As a result, the system has positive meaning for the improvement of carrying capacity and malfunction detecting capacity.
