Detailed development of the design of a double-acting double-sided moldboard body for rotary ploughs

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problems of developing designs of double-sided mouldboard bodies for rotary ploughs, using the methods of geometrical modeling. A brief analysis of designs of double-sided mouldboard bodies for rotary ploughs from the geometrical view point is considered. Some disadvantages of double-sided mouldboard body designs which prevent wide application of rotary ploughs are revealed. The results of the researches on the development of the designs of two-sided mouldboard bodies for rotary ploughs using geometrically combined working surfaces are given. The developed models of the designs of two mouldboard bodies of double-sided action for rotary ploughs have a number of advantages, simplification of a rotary mechanism, improvement of manufacturability of mouldboard manufacturing and application of additional field boards. There are offered two variants of construction of two mouldboard bodies with double-sided action for mono body and multi bodies ploughs. They are differed by manual swivelling mechanism of switching to needed working position for mono body plough and individual gear swivelling mechanism for each body separately for multi bodies plough allowing to control its work from the cabin. As an example, is presents a detailed design of double-sided mouldboard body for mono body plough.
