Detailed Soil Survey Mapping–Classification and Problems of Drainage of Tepearası–Eskiköy Locality

Abstract
In this study, detail soil survey mapping and investigation about nutrient were evaluated. The working area consists of 1200 da. Front office, land, laboratory and second office workings are done in terms of soil survey and mapping methodology. Topographical maps and scene of Google Earth are used to investigate. In this working area, ten hole soil profile opened and 3 soil series were determined. Belonging to this soil series, phases are determined and soil mapping is created. These soil types are Boynuzbuku (B), Mezarlık (M) and Tepearasi (T). The most common one in the area of study is Tepearasi. The soil classification has been made according to WRB and soil taxonomy. The phases belonging to these types of soils have been determined and the map of soil has been prepared. Water table observations have been carried out and interpreted. Besides the analysis of nutritional plant element has been made and evaluated.
