Journal Title: International Journal of Agriculture Sciences - Year 2016, Vol 8, Issue 13
Abstract
The present study revealed that nearly two- third (65.00 per cent) of cotton growers found in the category of high level of knowledge regarding basic knowledge about weeds, slightly less than half (49.16 per cent) of cotton growers had very high level of knowledge about preventive measures. Exactly one third (33.33 per cent) growers had high level of knowledge about chemical method, more than 41.66 per cent of cotton growers had medium level of knowledge about biological method and 40.00 per cent of growers found with medium level of knowledge about safety measures. Nearly 67 per cent of the cotton growers had high level of overall knowledge pertaining to integrated weed management practices.
