Determination of the Effect of Increasing Nitrogen Doses on Vegetative and Yield Properties of Fennel (F. vulgare Mill. var. dulce) in Kahramanmaras Conditions

Abstract
In this study, increasing nitrogen doses in some fennel (Konya and Tokat-1) populations in Kahramanmaraş conditions; It is aimed to determine how it will affect the vegetative and yield characteristics. The study was established in the research and application land of Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department, in the 2019-2020 winter vegetation period, according to the divided plots trial design with 3 replications. As a result of the study, plant height 59.06-75.03 cm, number of branches per plant 6.83-7.07 pieces/plant, number of umbrellas per plant 33.53-34.35 pieces/plant, number of umbrellas per plant 233.961-256.817 pieces/plant, number of seeds per plant in fennel populations applied different nitrogen doses. 2376.89 pieces/plant, thousand fruit weight 9.56-9.58 g, seed yield -226.24-257.50 kg da-1, biological yield 836.99-1058.06 kg da-1 and harvest index were found between 24.49 and 27.82 values. In this study, although the doses out of control (3, 6, 9, 12, 15 kg da-1 N) were statistically in the same group in terms of seed yield, according to the population x dose interaction, the highest value was found in the 9 kg da-1 N dose of the Tokat-1 population.
