Solar Radiation Estimation under Clear Sky Conditions for Brasov Area (Romania) - Models Performance Estimation
The literature in this field offers a high number of models for estimating total solar radiation, because the world's most weather stations measure total solar radiation. However, it must be mention, diffuse radiation es...
Influence of Deep Carburizing Treatment on Hardness of Workpieces
In carburizing heat treatment was achieved a theoretical and experimental research of influence of carburizing time on hardness and depth. The study of obtained results through performed experiments leads to optimization...
Software Tool Used for Holes Manufacturing Processes
The paper presents a software tool, developed in AutoCAD environment, used for manufacturing processes of holes. The holes are placed on solids with different configurations. The software tool is part of CAD/CAM system s...
Α Parameter Design in Turning of Copper Alloy
An optimization of the cutting parameters during turning of a copper alloy (GC-CuSn12) using the Taguchi design is attempted. Test specimens in the form of near-to-net-shape bars and a titanium nitride coated cemented ca...
Simulation of the Gas Transportation through Pipes Inspected by Intelligent Robots
In this paper, the authors have created the visual images of transport gas nets, by using the Delphi visual programming medium, as qualitative simulation tool. The authors show that using this tool, one can obtain a prio...
