DETERMINING REAL SECTOR IN THE CONTEXT OF PLANNING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The paper raises questions on the interpretation of the concept of "real sector of the economy", its place in the system of economic development of the state. A comparative description of the definition of Ukrainian and foreign scholars is made, emphasizing on the common and distinctive features of the term "real sector". Based on the analysis, the definitions of the term are grouped according to specific classification categories. The obstacles and prospects of the real sector development are outlined and the importance of its transformation at the present, crisis, stage of development, complicated by military actions, is indicated. The priority of measures on effective sector management in the context of strategic planning of economic development of the state is emphasized.
