Abstract
The paper analyses the concept of convergent technologies development as a key factor in solving global problems in the new industrial revolution. The main trends in the development of convergent technologies identify advanced manufacturing technologies; the most promising for the enterprises in developed countries are defined. Priority areas for development and their implementation into the economy of Ukraine are identified. Additionally, scientific and methodical approaches to the creation of institutional support mechanism for the development and implementation of convergent technologies in Ukraine in conditions of a common research area ration with the EU are reflected in this paper
