DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MANAGEMENT INTEGRATED SYSTEMS FOR QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND OCCUPATIONAL SECURITY (MISQEHOS)

Abstract
The authors are trying to emphasize the extent to which the companies from the business environment are aware of and value the business opportunities regarding the adoption of the ISO voluntary standards, in order to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the management integrated systems for quality, environment, health and occupational security, a condition for ensuring the competitive advantage. The company management’s commitment to implement MISQEHOS represents an important premise for promoting sustainable business models. To this purpose a research was made on a sample of 67 firms from the manufacturing industry, the respondents being managers or persons in charge with environment protection. As research instruments the questionnaire and the interview were used.
