DEVELOPMENT OF FOOTBALL IN NIKOLAYEV REGION IN THE FIRST POST-WAR YEARS

Abstract
The article shows problems of football revival in Mykolaiv after the Second World War. It described and synthesized mention about first football matches which were hold in 1944 after liberation of the city from occupation. The examples clearly show the revival of Mykolaiv football, its exit to the all-Union scene and appearance in the Ukrainian championships, the analysis of the demonstration in the Ukrainian SSR and USSR championships, also highlight events in regional and junior football in the Mykolaiv region, the historical facts which were collected by the authors can be used by students and teachers at higher educational institutes while studying the subjects of Physical Education’s History and Sport. The article reveals the necessity of new scientific approaches, historical judgment of events which are directly related to football.
