DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF THE NATIONAL POLICE OF UKRAINE IN THE CONDITIONS OF ACTIVATION OF EURO-INTEGRATION PROCESSES

Abstract
The article examines the main directions of international cooperation of National police of Ukraine in retrospect and in the conditions of European integration processes. It is proved that international cooperation must be seen as a joint activity between different peoples and countries, with the participation of their representatives. International cooperation of the National police of Ukraine proposed to be defined as joint activities of the police with representatives of the law enforcement sector in other countries, international organizations, and international cooperation the National police of Ukraine – as relationships in the areas of police activities with the relevant authorities of other States and international organizations. Analyzed in detail such a direction of international cooperation, as cooperation in the field of police training, which is the cooperation of States represented by governments, ministries of interior or other police agencies, international governmental and non-governmental organizations. Defined and conducted a thorough study of such main directions of international cooperation: international cooperation in the field of combating crime; direct involvement of police in international peacekeeping operations and security; international cooperation in the area of effective police training.
