DEVELOPMENT OF LEGISLATION ON THE RESOLUTION OF LABOR DISPUTES (CONFLICTS) DURING THE PERIOD OF UKRAINE’S INDEPENDENCE: THE HISTORICAL AND LEGAL CONTEXT

Abstract
This article reveals the key historical and legal aspects of the development of legislation on the resolution of labor disputes (conflicts) during the period of Ukraine’s independence. Emphasizes the importance of taking historical experience into account in the context of the prospects for improving the legal regulation of the resolution of labor disputes (conflicts). The emphasis is on the declarative and fragmentary nature of the proclaimed reforms of the labor market, the codification of labor legislation. It is indicated in the problematic aspects of the continuation of the Code of Labor Laws and other acts of the labor legislation of the Soviet era on the territory of Ukraine. The key trends in the development of labor legislation during the first years of independence were noted. It is indicated on the importance of the constitutional and legal consolidation of the protection of labor rights. The importance of realistic reforms of the labor market, codification of labor and labor procedural legislation was noted. Conclusions are made.
