DEVELOPMENT OF PHILOSOPHICAL AND LEGAL IDEAS ABOUT SOCIAL CONTROL AND LEGAL ORDER IN THE MIDDLE AGES

Abstract
The article studies the formation of public order and control in the Middle Ages. It is established that the order in the philosophy of that time was considered within the framework of Christian theology as a givenness of the transcendental God. Social order was understood as a reflection of the order of heaven. It was believed that the division of society into social groups was natural, since it has regulated the society according to the purpose of each person, which is determined by God.
