DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS IN EU COUNTRIES

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of applied aspects of small and medium business development. The work reveals the peculiarities of small and medium-sized businesses in the EU countries. There is considered the influence of small and medium enterprises on the macroeconomic indicators of separate countries and the European Union on the whole. There are explored the peculiarities of the policy concerning support and regulation of small and medium business in the EU and there are outlined the prospects for introducing the experience of SMEs development in the EU countries for those in Ukraine.
