DEVELOPMENT OF STRUCTURAL COMPOSITION OF POLYMER CONCRETE

Abstract

Purpose. Development of the structural composition of polymer concrete, which will allow obtaining products with specified physical and mechanical properties with a minimum consumption of binder; the construction of a curve describing the increase in the density of the polymer concrete mixture depending on the applied load; determination of the breaking force of polymer concrete workpieces. Methodology. It is based on the analysis of existing studies on the selection of initial materials for the development of the structural composition of polymer concrete, the improvement of the structure and properties of polymer concrete by introducing new components into its composition and their interaction with traditional components. Results. The nominal structural composition of polymer concrete based on polyester resin is developed, that takes into account the weight and percentage ratio of the raw materials, which makes it possible to produce dense polymer concrete products with a minimum binder consumption. A technology is proposed for the preparation of polymer concrete based on polyester resin for the production of poly-mer concrete products. In accordance with the proposed technology, experimental studies were carried out, as a result of which experimental samples from polymer concrete were obtained by static pressing, the deformation of the polymer concrete layer was determined depending on the applied load, geometrical dimensions and density of poly-mer concrete samples. The diagram of the change in density of the polymer concrete mixture according to the pressing pressure is constructed. The breaking forces of the experimental polymer concrete workpieces at different temperature values are determined. Originality. The technique of experimental studies aimed at developing the nominal structural composition of polymer concrete based on polyester resin. Practical value. The developed structural com-position of polymer concrete based on polyester resin, which will allow obtaining products with specified physical and mechanical properties with minimal binder consumption.
