DEVELOPMENT OF THE MECHANISMS OF COORDINATION OF THE MONETARY AND BUDGET POLICY IN THE CONTEXT OF OVERCOMING THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE BANKING CRISIS

Abstract
. The article systematizes the main directions of the development of mechanisms for coordinating monetary and budgetary policy in Ukraine and determines that under current conditions, the budget policy pursued by governments over the monetary policy developed and implemented by the National Bank of Ukraine is dominating. The advantages and disadvantages of using discretionary and non-discretionary policies in the process of coordinating the actions of the government and the central bank are grounded. A system of measures is proposed to harmonize the rules and procedures for the development and implementation of monetary and budgetary policies in Ukraine. He article proposes the ways to rise responsibility of public authorities for achieving the targets within monetary regime, and grounds the necessity of rising the level of trust to central bank and government policy. The main directions of improving the government's debt policy and the joint anti-inflationary policy of the central bank and government have been identified with a view to ensuring a balanced development of the financial and monetary systems, overcoming the consequences of the banking crisis, ensuring overall macrofinancial stability and sustainable economic growth.
