DEVELOPMENT OF THE QUALITY OF HIGHER MEDICAL EDUCATION IN GREAT BRITAIN

Abstract
The UK has a well-developed network of higher educational institutions of varying degrees of accreditation, which trains specialists for the needs of their healthcare, as well as specialists from other countries of the world. The article discusses the issue of developing the quality of higher medical education in the UK, highlighting the issues and defining the main strategic directions for the further development of medical education and developing priority measures to be taken by the legislative and executive authorities for the development of medical education. In the age of globalization and the internationalization of European higher education, the issue of mutual recognition of curricula and programs, qualification levels of education, assessments, and so on. It is important to understand the principles of quality control education, licensing and accreditation of higher education institutions of different types and levels around the world. Accordingly, among the latest trends in the development of higher education as an international phenomenon, the integration (for example, European integration) of higher education, which aims to create a single educational space, is a special place.
