Diagnostc value of the blood hormonal and metabolic status in female boxers following a 4-round matches. Pilotage research.

Abstract
The biomedical literature does not describes hormonal and metabolic status in blood following official boxing match in female boxers. The aim of this study to assesses the psycho-physical stress based on of selected blood indices following 4-round contests (4 x 2 min) played during a competition.During 3-day an inłernational box tournament capillary blood were sampled from five female boxers of various body mass in 4th minute following three consecutive events, qualifiers, semi-final and final match played on 1st, 2nd and 3rd day respectively. Serum levels of cortisol (C), testosterone (T), growth hormone (GH), and blood lactate (LA) concentration were determined.Mean levels after three contests played on 1st, 2nd and 3rd day of competition during were as follows: C - 911±91 nmol/L, T- 2.7±0.6 nmol/L, GH - 36.3±10.9 ng/ml, LA - 11.2±2.8 mmol/L. After the final contests somewhat higher individual T were found in two gold medalists (2.6 and 3.4 nmol/L) than in thełr opponents, silver medalists (1.9 and 2.5 nmol/L). Somewhat higher LA was recorded after 3rd final match (11.5±1.6 nmol/L) in com-parison to that following the 1st eliminatory bout (9.8±1.7 mmol/L). Likewise, post-final match higher GH (40.2±5.0) was find compared with that after 1st match (36.3±10.2 ng/L), whereas T and C were alike in these both terms.A boxing match is an anaerobic effort, which produce acute high levels of C and GH. T was alike at the end and in the beginning of tournament. The better out-come was achieved by athletes of higher T.
