DIAGNOSTICS OF ARTISTIC AND INFORMATIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE MUSICAL ART TEACHERS

Abstract

The article presents the diagnostics of artistic and informational competence of students of the art faculties at pedagogical universities. The question of future music teachers’ training for productive activity in the information society is considered by E. Abdullin, N. Huralnik, L. Koval, L. Kunenko, L. Masol, O. Mykhailychenko, I. Mostova, H. Padalka, O. Rudnytska, V. Fedoryshyn. In the process of this work, the following methods are used: empirical – oral and written interview, interviewing, conversations, pedagogical observation; analytical – the experience identification of professional training of students, future leaders of vocal choral groups; statistical – generalization of the revealed qualitative and quantitative research results. The analysis of the process of schoolchildren’s musical and aesthetic development at musical art lessons in secondary schools is carried out. The analysis shows that most teachers of musical art, in addition to traditional methods of teaching, use such modern information technology as a computer, a laptop, as well as information carriers. As a result of the work carried out, three levels of the formation of artistic and information competence are revealed, namely: low, medium, high. The allocation of various levels of the formation of artistic and information competence contributed to the implementation of a differentiated individual approach in conducting and choral training. The content and course of experimental work at the stage of the experiment allows to determine the levels of formation of the artistic and informational competence of future music teachers in the process of conducting and choral training. Application at the diagnostic stage of the comprehensive assessment of the levels of this phenomenon formation has allowed to certify that most students have not reached a high level, but have taken positions at the medium and low levels. This gives rise to the use of a specially developed step-by-step methodology for the formation of students’ artistic and informational competence.
