Abstract
Methandrostenolone, commonly known as Dianabol or Dbol, is an anabolic steroid that gained immense popularity in the 20th century due to its potential to promote muscle growth and enhance athletic performance. Originally developed for medicinal purposes, it quickly found its way into the realms of bodybuilding and sports. This research article aims to provide an in-depth review of Methandrostenolone’s pharmacology, mechanisms of action, performance-enhancing effects, potential side effects and overall health implications.
