Journal Title: Sport Mont - Year 2011, Vol 0, Issue 28

Abstract

The research was conducted on fifty subjects aged between thirtheen and fifteen years in Niksic, in order to determine whether there were statistically significant differences in the level of motor and functional abilities in football and handball players, and to determine the difference in quantitative and qualitative changes of motor and functional abilities in football and handball players aged thirteen to fifteen years. The study applied a system of eleven variables that hypothetically cover the space of motor and functional abilities. For all applied variables in this study, central and despersion parameters are calculated and measure of asymmetry and exterior, and normality of distribution was checked with Kolmogrov-Smirnov’s test. T-test was applied in order to check if there were applied variables of statistic quantitativ differences. For determination of difference between applied variables discriminative parametric procedure was used. To determine differences between group of variables and group of respondents discriminative analysis ws applied. The results showed that there were statistically significent differences between football and handball players aged thirteen to fifteen years.
