DIGITAL COMPETENCES – FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF EMPLOYEES

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the first stage of the research conducted within the following research project: “Digital competences of SMEs’ employees as an important element in ensuring an effective, innovative and competitive companies’ activities”. The study was conducted among a group of employees of enterprises from the region of Silesia and the most important goal was to evaluate their digital competences from the employees’ point of view. The results of this analysis can be the basis for creating different training programs that would take into account the specific needs of employees. The distinguishing factor for such programs can be the size of the particular organizational unit.
