DIGITAL ECONOMY AS THE MODERN VECTOR OF RECONSTRUCTION OF THE TRADITIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract
Purpose. The theoretical substantiation of the main directions and trends of the development of the digital economy, which is becoming more and more important driving force of global economic growth and plays an important role in accelerating economic development, increasing the productivity of traditional industries of the economy, forming new markets and achieving sustainable growth at the present stage of the formation of a global digital economy. Methodology of research. The study process is conducted using a dialectical approach to studying the current state of the digital economy. General and scientific, special methods are used in the process of research, in particular: the analytical method is used in the review of normative and legal sources; the classification method has made it possible to differentiate the main components of the digital economy, and the description method gives them a detailed description; the monographic method is used in the study of literary sources on the issues of digital economy; the system and analytical method is applied - when processing the received information. Findings. It is determined that the digital economy is a communication environment of economic activity on the Internet, the result of the transformational effects of new technologies of general use in the field of information, communication and nanotechnology. It is substantiated that the digital economy is based on the wide and massive use of automatic systems, devices and equipment using computing control units and devices capable of functioning without human involvement. The essence and formulation of the definition of a digital platform are revealed. The basic principles of functioning of the digital platform are revealed, allowing to create open, electronic systems with the considerable quantity of users. Originality. The complex analysis of the multi-functionality and legal basis for the development of the digital economy in modern conditions is carried out. The main approaches to the formation of information infrastructure of organizations and enterprises in the digital economy are considered. The basic directions of digital transformation, which consist of timeliness, accessibility, quality and personalization, are substantiated. The author's definition of digital economy is proposed, which provides a qualitative characteristic of the digital economy in terms of a set of features and characteristics. The directions of the digital transformation of the Ukrainian economy are substantiated: transport, energy, telecommunications, data processing, provision of public services. It has been established that the digital economy involves widespread use of technologies of large data sets (Big data), industrial Internet of Things and Internet of Things (IIoT / IoT), cloud computing, quantum technologies, NBIC-convergence (convergence of nano-bio-information and cognitive technologies), robotizing and other information technologies. Practical value. The obtained results of the study will enhance the effectiveness of the formation and development of the digital economy and will provide the basis for further research in this field.
