Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the digitized learning module in chemistry for improving the performance of grade 8 students in Aplaya National High School during the school year 2021-2022. The study employed descriptive statistics and quasi-experimental. The results showed that the developed learning materials were evaluated as very satisfactory by the science teachers and science expert-respondents in terms of content of the modules, presentation and organization, appropriateness, selection of activities, format and accuracy and up-to-datedness of information. In addition, there is sufficient evidence to say that there is a significant difference between the mean scores of the pretest and the posttest. The perception of the Grade 8 students on the developed learning modules was stimulating, engaging, interesting, and understandable activities. It also includes adequate warning/cautionary notes in topics and activities where safety and health are the concern. The learning material, according to them, yields accuracy and up-to-datedness of information, with an overall weighted mean of 3.87 or Very satisfactory.
