Diminution Noise and Vibration for Industrial Equipments Designated to Gearbox Testing
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2010, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper refers to a complex algorithm of design test stands for gearboxes. The algorithm pursues the optimization of the complex assembly embodied by the stand. The optimization criteria point to minimizing power supply, to insuring energetic balance at reversed rotation motion and to establishing the correct relationship between torque and angular velocity signs. The former aspect is significantly important for the vibration and noise regime.

On the Assessment of the Vertical Vibration Behaviour of a Railway Vehicle
The paper deals with the assessment of the vertical vibration behaviour of a railway vehicle due to the random irregularities of the track. This issue is important to predict the running behaviour of the vehicle. Also, i...
Parameters Influencing the Focalization Produced by a Graded Phononic Crystal
The geometrical distribution of immersed tubes has considerable influence on the propagation of an incident plane acoustic wave. A periodic distribution represents a phononic crystal (PC), which can be perfectly transpar...
Assessment of Damages in Sandwich Panels Based on the Damage Location Indexes
This paper presents a methodology to locate and evaluate transversal damages in composite structures, based on natural frequency shifts due to damage. In previous researches the authors succeeded to contrive a relation b...
The influences of undissolved air into the hydraulic agent on dynamics of hydraulic system with rotational drive unit
It is well known from the exploitation activities of hydraulic driving systems that the undissolved air into the hydraulic agent of technological equipments actuating system generates the negative effects regarding the s...
Analytical Investigation to Nonlinear Vibration of an Electrical Machine Supported by Nonlinear Bearings
In this paper we analytically investigate the nonlinear behavior of an electrical machine supported by nonlinear bearings characterized by a nonlinear stiffness of Duffing type. The Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method is...
