DISCRETE MATHEMATICAL FILTERS OF VIDEO INFORMATION PROCESSING FOR AUTOMATIC IMAGE COMPONENTS DETECTION AND MARKING
Journal Title: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES - APPLIED MECHANICS - Year 2010, Vol 55, Issue 3
Abstract
In this paper we shall discretize two classes of mathematical filters intended for the video image analysis with the purpose to automatically detect and mark the components that these images contain. Unlike the classical mathematical filters, their discrete correspondent defined by us in this paper has the advantage of being more adaptable to the specific character of a video image, which is discrete by its nature. From this point of view the research that we have undertaken will present not only theoretical interest but also a strong practical character, simplifying considerably the work of software developers.

KINEMATIC DESIGN OF 3-RPSR PARALLEL MECHANISM FOR MOVABLE-DIE DRIVE MECHANISM OF PIPE BENDER
The authors have been developing a pipe bender which fabricates pipes of three-dimensional complex shapes from straight pipes based on the penetration bending method. This bender is composed of a movable die supported by...
AN ANALYTICAL MODEL FOR THE STRUCTURE OF THE DETONATION WAVES. APPLICATION FOR HYPERSONIC PROPULSION
The gas flow field within an 1D normal detonation wave at variable specific heats and viscosity with temperature is considered. Such detonation waves appear in the so called air-breathing scramjet engines used at hyperso...
EXPERIMENTAL AND NUMERICAL STUDY OF LOW VELOCITY IMPACT ON SANDWICH PANELS WITH ALUMINUM FACESHEETS AND FOAM CORE
This study investigates the effect of foam core type in sandwich structures under low velocity impact. The structures consist of aluminum facesheets and polystyrene and polyurethane foam core with density of 32 kg/m3 , r...
BRANCHED SYSTEMS WITH NONLINEAR KINEMATICS – COMPUTER-AIDED ANALYSIS & DESIGN
This paper presents a computer-aided modeling way of the branched systems with nonlinear kinematics that make possible the design and the analysis, as well. Being very complex systems, the elasto-dynamic study of the rea...
NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF AN UNDERWATER EXPLOSION BY SPH METHOD
This paper presents theoretical and practical fundamentals regarding numerical analysis of an underwater explosion. Its parameters and effects upon submerged structures represent the aim of the numerical analysis by Smoo...
