ДО ПИТАННЯ ПРО ВПЛИВ ЗАХОДІВ СУВОРОЇ ЕКОНОМІЇ В ЄВРОПІ НА ПРАВА ЛЮДИНИ

Abstract
The article examines the impact of world economic crisis on the state of observance of economic and social human rights based on the experience of the European states. The author notes that due to economic crisis which affected many European countries (the author refers to the experience of the UK), one can note a significant deterioration in the situation with observance of economic and social human rights, which leads to an increase in the number of appeals to national and regional courts (in particular, to the European Court of Human Rights). The basis for general indignation of the population, primarily of the most vulnerable and marginalised segments of the population, have compounded pre-existing patterns of discrimination in the political as well as the social and economic spheres. The author gives a brief outline of the most critical problems of human rights violations and the way the governments cope with them.
