Don Martín Manuel Sánchez de Amoraga, un ejemplo del hidalgo ceheginero en el siglo XVIII

Abstract

This article writes about Martín Sánchez de Amoraga, a notary who defended the nobility of his family in the confrontations with other noble families for the occupation of council positions. Sánchez de Amoraga’s family had to defend their nobility in the Royal Chancery, losing their assets. However, our character studied and dedicated his entire life to demonstrating the nobility of his family, which he successfully achieved.
