Itinerario intelectual de Isidoro Rodríguez Herrera

Journal Title: Alquipir - Year 2022, Vol 7, Issue 1

Abstract

Father Rodríguez de Herrera was born in El Raal, Murcia, in 1904. Years later he would move to Cehegín, where he would begin his ecclesiastical career, which would culminate academically in 1939, when, despite the latent war situation, he would obtain his doctorate in Classical Philology. His academic career would take him to numerous teaching centres all over the world, and he even collaborated with the minister Ibáñez Martín to include Latin and Greek in the education of Spaniards.
