Abstract
The change in the combined index of the thread quality of the pump-compressor pipes, depending on the lifetime of the operation, was investigated, the value of which can be concluded that the suitability of the pipes for operation. As shown by the analysis of the obtained dependencies and results of industrial tests, the nipple part of the thread of the pump-compressor pipes tends to speed up failure and, on average, withstands up to 6-8 screw-screw-up operations, while the coupling parts of the thread can withstand up to 30 such operations. The most significant changes from the investigated parameters undergoes a diametrical tension on a threaded ring-caliber.
