DOWNSHIFTING AS A SOURCE OF STAFF'S ATTRACTION IN THE SPHERE OF SOCIAL WORK AND SOCIAL WELFARE

Abstract

Мodern approaches to the definition of the concept of "downshifting" are analyzed. The refined definition of downshifting as a combination of social and professional phenomena is proposed. The reasons of downshifting are systematized. Types of downshifters, which can be potential social workers, are defined. The advantages and disadvantages of downshifting as a source of personnel involvement in social work and social welfare are substantiated. The scientific and theoretical approach to attracting downshifters to work in institutions and organizations in the sphere of social welfare and social services is proposed.
