Dream in the tales of the Valery Shevchuk’s collection „The Lady of flowers”: typology, functions

Abstract
The peculiarities of using the motive of dream in collected fairy tales by Valery Shevchuk „The Lady of flowers” are analyzed in the article. Attention is focused on folk tradition, author’s specific of oniric discourse. Dream in fairy tales of the writer is connected with events’ developing of the work, intensifies its problem and thematic loading. The use of motive of dream in author’s fairy tale shows the peculiarities of figurative potential of the artistic word, originality of the individual style of the writer.
