Drug-induced liver damage in the onco-hematology patients: the assessment of the efficacy of sublingual ademetionine formulation

Journal Title: Сучасна гастроентерологія - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 2

Abstract

The authors presented the modern views on the mechanism of development, risk factors and treatment of the drug-inducedchronic hepatitis. The analysis has been performed for the efficacy of sublingual ademetionine formulation as regards its effects on the clinical and laboratory indices of the onco-hematology patients. It has been shown that sublingual ademetionine administration between the courses of chemotherapy promoted the improvement of patients’ well-being, the reduction of total bilirubin level in 1.5 times (р < 0.05), and significant decrease of the chronic hepatitis activity in 54.1 % of patients.
