DTC-RNA control with 36 sectors of induction motor by PI-fuzzy speed regulator

Abstract

Direct Torque Control (DTC) is the direct control of the electromagnetic torque of the machine. This article presents a 36-sectors DTC command of an induction machine based on intelligent controllers. A classical PI controller has been replaced with a PIfuzzy controller. Moreover, hysteresis regulators have been also replaced with two neuronal controllers. Matlab software has been used to visualize the results of simulation. The ripple of the electromagnetic torque, the stator flux, and the value of THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) of the stator current will be evaluated and compared by the classical DTC command with 36 sectors.
