Dynamic evolution process of tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer metastasis
Journal Title: Chinese Journal of Clinical Research - Year 2024, Vol 37, Issue 9
Abstract
"In the process of colorectal cancer metastasis, the tumor microenvironment interacts with primary tumors, secondary tumors, circulating tumor cells, and disseminated tumor cells. This article introduces its dynamic evolution process. The tumor microenvironment can not only exert its host defense mechanism to kill cancer cells, but also help cancer cells metastasize and spread through changes in the composition and structure of the microenvironment. Cancer cells complete their invasion, infiltration, circulation, extravasation, and seeding processes through phenotype transformation, secretion of cytokines, and cell dormancy. "

Advances in the role of T cells in colorectal cancer and related therapies
T cells are closely associated with tumor development and the homeostasis of the tumor microenvironment (TME). The co-receptors of immune checkpoints on the surface of T cells collectively regulate immune responses and c...
Exploration on the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease by clearing heat and descending the adverse flow of Qi based on “all acid eructation is ascribed to heat”
“All acid eructation is ascribed to heat” is one of the Nineteen items of pathogenesis in the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor (Huangdi Neijing). This theory underscores the close connection between symptoms such as vomitin...
The role of different complement activation pathways in diabetic kidney disease and related treatment strategies
Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is one of the common serious complications in diabetic patients. Its development and progression process is very complex, and the treatment options are limited. This paper reviews the roles...
Clinical efficacy of minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion and endoscopic lumbar interbody fusion in the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases
Objective To compare the safety and clinical efficacy of minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (MIS-TLIF) and endoscopic lumbar interbody fusion (Endo-LIF) for lumbar degenerative diseases. <b...
