Dynamic Isolation in Case of an Elastic Supported Viaduct
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2014, Vol 11, Issue 2
Abstract
The dynamic modeling, aims to analyze the dynamic behaviour of the viaduct to external actions from the road traffic and / or seismic movements. The analytical expressions of pulsation, frequency and of the eigenvectors are presented, thus putting in evidence the influence of inertial and structural characteristics on these.

Finite Elements Simulations of Noise Damping in a Muffler
This study represents an investigation of the COMSOL Finite Elements (FE) capabilities of simulating noise reduction techniques. This general purpose FE code has an acoustics module, from which the present study investig...
On the Acoustic Auxetic Nanopanels
This paper presents an investigation of the acoustic suppression by auxetic nanopanels. Materials with negative Poisson’s ratio are termed auxetics. Instead of getting thinner like an elongated elastic band when stretche...
Modal Analysis of the Viaducts Supported on the Elastomeric Insulators within the Bechtel Constructive Solution for the Transilvania Highway
The article presents an approach of six degrees dynamic model of a rigid-solid with some types of symmetries. These symmetries lead to simplified mathematical models, which are easier to solve. If the rigid-solid is join...
On the Assessment of the Vertical Vibration Behaviour of a Railway Vehicle
The paper deals with the assessment of the vertical vibration behaviour of a railway vehicle due to the random irregularities of the track. This issue is important to predict the running behaviour of the vehicle. Also, i...
Evaluation of the Antivibrating Damping Capacity in Case of Elastomers Used for Tram Railway Supporting
This paper is focused on the effect of elastomer supporting of the tram railways used for damping vibrations and noise transmitted to the surrounding buildings. For this, the experimental methods under dynamic regime bot...
