DYNAMICS OF CONTACT THERMOMETRIC SENSORS WITH ELECTRIC OUTPUT AND METHODS OF ITS IMPROVEMENT
Journal Title: Metrology and Measurement Systems - Year 2005, Vol 12, Issue 4
Abstract
The paper deals with selected aspects of modelling dynamic properties of contact thermometric sensors and reducing the dynamic error occurring in measurement of time-variable temperature as well as in measurement of constant temperature while the sensor output is settling. Due to volume limitations the paper is only an outline and presents some problems superficially. An attempt to present a wider study on the subject with rich bibliography is presented in the authors' monograph

ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTER DIFFERENTIAL NONLINEARITY ERROR CORRECTION IN BUILDING CONDUCTANCE HISTOGRAMS
In nanowire electrical conductance quantization studies, conductance histograms are built from a large number of conductance curves of conductance stepwise variations in time. The conductance curves are obtained by means...
A METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION OF RTS COMPONENTS IN NOISE SIGNALS
Noise signals containing two components with different distribution of current values of the noise signal, i.e. a component with Gaussian distribution and a component with non-Gaussian distribution, were analyzed. The no...
THERMAL PROPERTIES OF RUBIDIUM FREQUENCY STANDARD
The principle of rubidium standard operation is presented in the paper, with special attention to the influence of temperature on the components of the standard. Next, measurement results of the frequency of the output s...
MEASURE OF ELECTRIC REACTIVE POWER
Generated electric power can either be dissipated or occur in the form of an electric field and a magnetic field. By replacing the voltage in the well-known equation for dissipated power (energy) with its derivative (a f...
A RELIABLE LOW-COST METHOD FOR ACCURATE CHARACTERIZATION OF ANTENNAS IN TIME DOMAIN
In this paper, a time domain-based approach to practical characterization of antennas is presented. The goal is to prove that time domain-based approach, after appropriate processing, represents an accurate and more prac...
