Dynamics of socio-economic development of Ukraine

Abstract
Macroeconomic indicators of Ukraine for 2010-2015 are analyzed in the article. A number of our country’s advantages being attractive for foreign trade are listed. In particular, favorable geopolitical location, large population, large areas of farmland, availability of diverse natural resources etc. are to be mentioned. The carried out research testify that industry accounts for the largest share in the GDP. It is noted that agriculture and food industry account for one third of total exports and their share tends to increase. The opposite situation is observed in the exports of metallurgical, mining and machine-building commodities. In the imports structure the share of fuels and minerals is still high, however a shift of exports and imports from russian to european markets is noticed. It is identified that the reduction of exports, GDP decrease, national currency devaluation, high inflation rate etc. are the effects of economic and political crisis taking place in our country over the past several years. The financial aid of international financial institutions and developed countries made the certain degree of economic situation in Ukraine stabilization possible. External and internal risks and specific features of national economy development during the researched period are determined.
