Dynamics of temporal changes of geomagnetic field secular variations
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2016, Vol 38, Issue 6
Abstract
Time changes of the geomagnetic field secular variations, cleaned by three and eleven years running means were studying. The years of the changes of sign secular variations and years of the changes of their velocity were found. It was shown that these years are observed at the solar activity extremeness and the secular variations jerks coincide with these years also. It made conclusion that jarks have great component due external sources.

Petroleum potential of Lower Jurassic and Pre-Jurassic reservoirs of Ust-Tym mega depression
The relevance of the research is caused by the need of reproduction of oilfields area resource base in southeast of Western Siberia. The main aim of the research is to identify and to propose the priority areas for explo...
Mantle origin of methane in the Black Sea
A new distribution map of gas seeps and mud volcanoes has been compiled of the Black Sea. It has been derived from the published coordinates for ca. 5000 gas seeps and 80 mud volcanoes. An analysis of the stable isotopic...
Determining source parameters from waveforms of small earthquakes in the Carpathian region of Ukraine
In the paper, a method is presented for moment tensor inversion of only direct P- and/or S-waves registered at only one station. Lesser sensitivity of direct waves, if compared to reflected and converted waves, to path e...
Vertical tectonic movements and sedimentary filling of basins during syn-rift and post-rift stages of lithosphere development
One-dimensional numerical modeling of isostatic response of lithosphere to thermal uplift of its bottom (active rifting) and interconnected formally independent thinning of the crust has been fulfilled. Evolution curves...
Velocity section of the upper mantle under the island arcs of the northern and western outlying parts of the Pacific Ocean
We construct a velocity model of the upper mantle beneath the island arcs in the northern and western parts of the Pacific Ocean for the arrival times of longitudinal seismic waves at seismic stations in these regions. R...
