Relationship of climate changes with geomagnetic field. P. 3. Northern and Southern hemispheres
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2016, Vol 38, Issue 3
Abstract
Differences of relations between geomagnetic field and climate for Northern and Southern hemispheres considered earlier have been shown. They are connected, first of all, with the depth of penetration of the charged particles into the Earth's atmosphere, modulated by geomagnetic field and their impact on the ozone balance near the tropopause. In the Northern hemisphere ozone formation in the lower stratosphere occurs during ionic-molecular autocatalitic cycle of ozone production, initiated by GCR, and in the Southern one — as a result of "self-restoration" of ozone initiated by solar energetic particles. Explanation of the observed simultaneous warm¬ing in the Western Antarctica and the fall of temperature in the Central and Eastern Antarctica has also been presented.

The main principles have been proposed for discussion on composing the Scheme of fracrture-mega-block tectonics of the Ukrainian Shield in a scale 1 : 500 000 supported by a decision of Inter-departmental tectonic commit...
Decompaction of metamorphic rocks under thermodynamic conditions of the Earth crust (experimental data)
A connection velocity—density inherent to the rocks of deep crust horizons is widely used while plotting concordant model of the Earth lithosphere with the methods of complex interpretation of geophysical data seeking fo...
The structure of the Earth’s crust of the central part of the Holovanivsk suture zone according to the reinterpretation of materials of IV geotraverse of DSS (PK 295—400)
The paper presents the results of reinterpretation of the materials obtained as a result of studies using the DSS method along the IV geotraverse at the site PK 295—400. The reinterpretation was carried out purposefully...

Peculiarities of the geomagnetic field secular variations at the 20th solar activity cycle
The decrease of solar and; correspondingly; geomagnetic activities at the 20th cycle has reflected on the secular variations of the geomagnetic field. On the continental magnetic observatories of the Earth north hemisphe...
