Dzieła Boże rosną tylko w cieniu Krzyża – 25 lat posługi Hospicjum św. Kamila w Bielsku-Białej

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to present the work of St. Kamil’s Hospice in Bielsko-Biała, in which Salvatorians have served for over 25 years. The specifics and origins of hospice care have been presented, as well as the process of setting up and organizational principles of St. Kamil’s Hospice. An answer has been given to the question of how to become a hospice volunteer and what is the role of formation in serving the sick and their families. This study also mentions financial and promotional aspects, which influence smooth running of the community, its further development and contribution to the hospice care in Poland. The achievements and awards received for the hospice activity have also been mentioned. They are an additional inspiration and motivation for the hospice team to perform their service with even greater zeal, devotion and professionalism.
