Abstract
Krzysztof Skowronski was accused of violating journalistic independence, while attempting to politicize the SPD. The author raised an important issue, which is the separation of journalism from politics. The author pointed to a number of roles which a journalist should carry out, as well as the multidimensional nature of the profession.
