E-Bayesian and Hierarchical Bayesian Estimations Based on Dual Generalized Order Statistics from the Inverse Weibull Model
Journal Title: Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science - Year 2017, Vol 23, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper is devoted to compare the E-Bayesian and hierarchical Bayesian estimations of the scale parameter corresponding to the inverse Weibull distribution based on dual generalized order statistics. The E-Bayesian and hierarchical Bayesian estimates are obtained under balanced squared error loss function (BSELF), precautionary loss function (PLF), entropy loss function (ELF) and Degroot loss function (DLF). The properties of the E-Bayesian and hierarchical Bayesian estimates are investigated. Comparisons among all estimates are performed in terms of absolute bias (ABias) and mean square error (MSE) via Monte Carlo simulation. Numerical computations showed that E-Bayesian estimates are more efficient than the hierarchical Bayesian estimates.

Boolean Product of Zero-one Matrices Application to Truth Values of Logical Connectives of Several Propositions
In this paper, the Boolean product of zero-one matrices are applied to obtain the truth values of several propositions with logical connectives. The propositional matrices are given in relation to the matrix algebric pro...
ms*-Modules
Let R be a ring and M a left R-module. A module M is called ms*-module if each maximal submodule is equivalent to a supplement in M. In this work, we focus on ms*-module and study various properties of this module.
Hypertension Prediction System Using Naive Bayes Classifier
Hypertension is an illness that often leads to severe and life-threatening diseases such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, heart attack and other severe conditions if not promptly diagnosed and treated. Data Min...
SEIRS Model for Pediatrics with Lower Respiratory Tract Infection
The ability of the immune system to detect and eliminate most pathogens is essential for the survival of lower respiratory tract infection in 2016 by Olubadeji [1]. Lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) constituted th...
Common Fixed Point Theorems for Compatible and Weakly Compatible Maps Satisfying E. A. and CLRT Property in Non-Newtonian Metric Space
In this paper, we prove some results for compatible and weakly compatible maps in non-Newtonian metric spaces. We also introduce E.A. and CLRT property in the context of non-Newtonian metric space and prove the correspon...
